On construction sites, it is frequently the case that pipe installations are used to route supply lines such as cables or PG pipes from one location to another. Proper sealing of the pipelines is problematic.

In many cases, the opening of the pipe is filled with PU foam, but this is neither UV-resistant nor resistant to ageing.
